Beamcomplex specializes in the production of compact multifunctional complexes for installation in state warehouses of food reserve funds and production plants, in ports for treating cargo containers, etc. These complexes are also used in the construction of centers for treating various products, substances and materials.

CONFIGURATION

The complex consists of 4 modules (40-ft containers), which contain:

  • Electron accelerator (5 MeV, 50-100 kW), operating in E-beam and X-Ray modes
  • Built-in conveyor system
  • Module casing, which is filled with concrete at the installation site
  • Electronics
  • Accelerator cooling and ventilation systems
  • Control room

An E-beam (i.e. electron beam) consists of a stream of electrons accelerated to high speeds. They carry a negative charge and have a small mass, allowing them to accelerate rapidly under electric fields. This acceleration results in high-energy beams capable of performing intricate tasks in technology and research.


An X-Ray (i.e. Röntgen radiation) is a form of high-energy electromagnetic radiation with photons that carry enough energy to ionize atoms and disrupt molecular bonds. This makes it a type of ionizing radiation, impacting living and non-living tissues.

CONVEYOR SYSTEMS
The complexes can be simultaneously equipped with 2 to 3 conveyor systems to irradiate products in boxes, in bulk in one layer, on pallets, in bags and in cargo containers.

ADVANTAGES OF OUR COMPLEX WITH ELECTRON ACCELERATOR

  • The complex is manufactured at our plant and the ready-made product delivered to your site. The radiation module casing is filled with concrete at the site of installation.
  • Several conveyor systems and one accelerator can process products in various ways - in boxes, bags, small and large containers on pallets, in bulk and others.
  • The complexes are placed in compact containers that take up a minimum of space. If necessary, the containers can be easily moved to another site.
  • The complex is equipped with a two-side outlet, which allows processing products with E-beam and X-Ray both vertically and horizontally.

COMPLEXES FOR CARGO CONTAINERS TREATMENT

The new technology of treatment of food products in cargo containers with ionizing radiation that penetrates through the walls of the containers provides high speed sterilization and guarantees 100% destruction of pathogens, insect pests and their lavare in transported products.

Beamcomplex specializes in the construction of high-tech complexes with electron accelerators for processing products using X-Ray in closed reefers.


This method of processing enables to ensure temperature control, preserve product quality and guarantee its safety at all stages of logistics.


Such complexes can be located in ports. Upon arrival of containers at ports, phytosanitary treatment of products can be carried out without opening containers.

TREATMENT PROCESS


The treatment time for X-Ray products in closed reefers is approximately 20 minutes, depending on the type of treated product and the required electron purification dose.

  • TREATMENT STEPS
    1. A vehicle arrives at the sterilization center.
    2. The vehicle with the container is placed on the conveyor system.
    3. The entrance gate is opened and the conveyor system moves the vehicle with the container into the sterilization center equipped with radiation shielding. After the movement, the gate is closed.
    4. Two electron accelerators are switched on to treat the vehicle with X-Ray on both sides.
    5. A conveyor system moves the vehicle between the X-Ray emitters to ensure uniform treatment.
    6. Once the vehicle has fully passed between the X-Ray sources, the electron accelerators are turned off and the exit gate is opened.
    7. A conveyor belt moves the treated vehicle with the container outside the sterilization center.
    8. After the vehicle with the container have left the processing area, the exit gate is closed.

MOBILE COMPLEX WITH ELECTORN ACCELERATOR





The mobile complex is designed to treat various types of products with ionizing radiation directly in places where it is needed. The complex is a semi-trailer and can freely move between sites.

The wide use of ionizing radiation technology opens up new opportunities for solving many issues, including pre-sowing seed treatment, phytosanitary treatment of agricultural products, disinfection of drinking water, etc.
